Who We Are- Integrative Health Clinic

Robert Frost, “The Road Not Taken”

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by.
And that has made all the difference.”

Get to Know Us

  • Our mission at Two Roads Wellness Clinic® is to support and empower all people to reach their best selves through emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.

  • Two Roads Wellness Clinic began in 2015 with a single location in Danville, Illinois. We started as a mental health clinic with a vision of integrative, whole-person support.

We now offer primary care services, mental health therapy, medication management for mental health, physical therapy, behavioral health coaching, DNA testing with personalized health reports, bio-identical hormone support, women’s health, Esketamine treatment, community education and more.

The foundation of who we are and what we do will not change, but the expression of it may look different as the years go by. We hope to honor Two Road’s beginning as well as remain flexible and excited about the changes as we grow.

  • Two Roads Wellness uses an integrative health approach which combines aspects of conventional medicine and functional medicine based on the individual needs of each person.

    Holistic Approach

We don’t believe in a blanket approach to healthcare, instead we offer individualized and specialized care that focuses on the person in front of us. Holistic health care addresses physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual aspects. We focus on finding underlying causes instead of just treating symptoms.

How is integrative heath care different from allopathic/conventional medicine?

We utilize evidence-based alternative modalities such as exercise, yoga, massage, supplements, diet changes, herbal remedies, essential oils, and more to best meet the needs of each individual's unique health needs.

How is integrative health different from functional medicine?

We do prescribe medication as needed based on each person's lifestyle, desires, capability to utilize and make changes, and individual health needs.

  • Everyone! Specifically, those who want to feel their best and may have felt “unheard” by other providers. Maybe you feel stuck or discouraged with an issue/challenge you've had for a while. Allow us to come alongside you, we can often achieve positive outcomes together that are typically much more difficult to experience on your own.

  • Company values are how we treat each other, clients, and patients.

    Accountability — Own the outcome.

We do what we say, own results (good or bad), and make it right when we miss.

    Clarity — Make it unmistakable.

We communicate expectations, decisions, and priorities in plain language.

Growth — Improve deliberately and sustainably.

We learn new skills, build healthy habits, and raise our bar, without burnout.

Transparency — Open by default, private when necessary.

We share context, data, and decisions so people can do their best work—while respecting

    confidentiality.

    Connection — People first.

We treat each other with kindness and care, assume positive intent, and invest in trust.

Teamwork — We, not me. Win/Win

It’s not my job or your job—it’s our job. We succeed as one team.

  • Root Cause: We look beyond symptoms to identify and address the underlying drivers of health concerns.

We don’t just treat the symptoms, but try to alleviate the concerns from the root. When we treat the root, we empower our clients and patients to get rid of, for good, the unhealthy disease, disorder, concern, or stressor that they are dealing with. In essence, when we only treat symptoms, we keep our patients and clients in a state of “illness”. Our goal is to help them live a life of wellness by finding the root causes and finding real solutions and healing

Integrative: We consider body, mind, beliefs, and lifestyle and then coordinate conventional and complementary approaches to care.

We are not just a “leg” or a “brain”. We are not just a body or just a mind or just a spirit. Each part of “us” affects all the other parts. We understand that the systems do not work independently, but are interdependent. We can’t treat one without treating all.

Integrative medicine is a bridge between conventional medicine and functional or alternativemedicine. It focuses on informed consent. We provide options of care that will provide the person with solutions and partner with them to support their healing and recovery. The patient chooses their treatment that is best for them and we walk alongside them.

Personalized: We tailor care to each person’s biology, goals, and context, adjusting as data and needs evolve.

Each person’s DNA is as unique as a snowflake! Because of their uniqueness, we don’t want a one size fits all approach. We want to understand who they are and what they need. We create an approach that works for each individual.

  • Two Roads gets its name from the famous Robert Frost poem, “The Road Not Taken,” in which the author discusses his life-changing decision to take the road “less traveled by.” At Two Roads, we want to help you find the path that makes a difference in your life. We want YOU at the center of treatment- so you are fully seen, heard and supported to live a peaceful and fulfilling life.
