Frequently Asked Questions

What is integrative healthcare and how is it different from conventional healthcare?

Integrative healthcare combines the best of conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary or holistic approaches. Instead of just treating symptoms, we focus on finding and addressing the root causes of illness. Our providers look at your whole health, mind, body, and spirit, to create a personalized care plan that supports healing and long-term wellness.

For more information, please see our article titled “What is Integrative Healthcare?”.

Do you have a doctor I can schedule an appointment with?

Our highly trained nurse practitioners provide excellent patient-centered care—you’ll be in trusted hands with them.

Do you accept insurance, and what kind?

What is integrative medicine good for?

At Two Roads Wellness Clinic®, we believe integrative medicine can be helpful for people looking for ways to support chronic conditions like anxiety, depression, autoimmune issues, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, and more. Integrative medicine focuses on prevention and root-cause healing, not just symptom management. Integrative medicine combines all aspects of conventional and holistic or alternative therapies. The actual treatment plan is based on what that individual person needs. It's not just holistic and natural and may not even incorporate those aspects into the person's care if they don't want that. For example, they may only want medication management and that would be available if desired.
