Brent Scott is a dedicated mental health counselor with a passion for helping individuals from all walks of life. At 59 years old, Brent brings not only professional experience, but also a deep sense of empathy, compassion, and understanding shaped by decades of life experience. He has been happily married for 41 years and is the proud father of three sons, three daughters-in-law, and nine grandchildren.
Experience and History
Before entering the counseling field, Brent proudly served eight years in the United States Army, an experience that helped shape his strong sense of discipline, resilience, and commitment to others. He has been a counselor at TRWC for the past two years and truly loves the work he does. Brent works with all populations and enjoys helping individuals ranging in age from 5 to 105.
Personal Experiences that Contribute to the Therapy Relationship
Brent is especially passionate about connecting with people in a genuine and relatable way. His personal journey includes 16 years of recovery from drugs and alcohol, which allows him to bring hope, understanding, and authenticity to those facing their own challenges. Outside of counseling, Brent enjoys physical fitness and spending time outdoors whenever possible.
