Compassionate, Trauma-informed Support

Sara is drawn to the counseling profession because she believes in the transformative impact of compassionate, trauma-informed support, especially during seasons of pain, loss, and crisis. She strives to create a therapy space that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply respectful, where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Her goal is for therapy to feel both grounding and empowering, supporting clients as they build insight, self-trust, and meaningful growth at a pace that honors their lived experience.

Counseling Approach

Her approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, integrating CBT-informed strategies and thoughtfully incorporating somatic practices when helpful. Sara has a special passion for supporting bereaved individuals and survivors of sexual trauma, while also valuing the opportunity to work with people of all ages and backgrounds as she continues to grow in her training.

Outside of the therapy room

Sara brings extensive helping-profession experience, including 11 years as a Certified Yoga Instructor, 5 years with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline facilitating and supervising crisis intervention services, and 3 years as a Certified Grief Coach supporting bereaved mothers.
