Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Jessica Alford is a "Functional Medicine" style approach Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She sees clients of all ages with special focus on nutrition, lifestyle, and how the environment impacts our health and wellness or fosters our illnesses.

She received her Master's through Illinois State University and has worked as a bedside nurse at Carle Hospital for over 6 years. She has furthered her studies with the Institute for Functional Medicine and is always learning new ways to holistically approach client care.

How Jessica helps Two Roads’ clients

She strives for preventative medicine and helping heal chronic health conditions and works to do this in the most cost-effective, accessible, and least-intrusive manner.

Coming from a long line of farmers, she is also passionate in being a steward for our farm-to-health connections and recognizing that food and plants are our first medicine! Her focus is for healthier soil and a human microbiome alike through restorative agricultural and healthcare practices.

While she thoroughly enjoys seeing clients, she also enjoys time off with her family and working to build their little homestead. She looks forward to meeting you!
