She earned her BA in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University.

Currently, Alicyn works with young adults and older clients in individual therapy, though she hopes to expand her practice to include children and adolescents in the future. She previously interned at The Autism Program in Urbana, Illinois.

Outside of her professional life, Alicyn is a proud cat mom to Manning and Colonel Mustard, and enjoys going on walks with them, playing games, and rewatching her favorite TV shows. She's also a big fan of the Sanrio universe, with Cinnamoroll being her favorite character.
