Licensed Social Worker

Stephanie Bower received her Bachelor's in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion Indiana. She received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of New England, Portland, Maine in 2018. She is a Licensed Social Worker.  Stephanie sees clients in our Danville, Illinois clinic.

Field Experience

She began her field experience working with individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. She continued her field experience working with teens and adults experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, life transitions and self image challenges. 

Areas of Support

Areas of support include counseling for adults and teenagers experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, stress and grief and life adjustments.

She particularly enjoys using expressive arts in her work with teens and adults. Stephanie believes that a supportive and non- judgmental approach helps build a solid foundation for a therapeutic relationship. Stephanie has also gained the status of Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

What it’s like to work with Stephanie

As a clinician, she utilizes an eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavioral approaches as well as Mindfulness strategies to assist clients. Her orientation is strengths-based and holistic.
