Emily Cadman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Champaign office, holding a Master's of Social Work in Mental Health. She entered the mental health profession driven by her interest in mental wellbeing for everyone, viewing her work as a meaningful contribution to making the world a better place.

Emily specializes in trauma and severe mental health disorders, bringing valuable experience from working with youth in residential treatment facilities, outpatient settings, and correctional facilities. She works with adolescents and adults, providing individual therapy and is open to beginning couples and family therapy.

Emily's approach to working with individuals centers on listening to each client's expectations and tailoring her methods to help them feel comfortable and develop a strong therapeutic connection. She strives to create an environment where clients feel calm and at ease enough to share openly. Her goal is to help clients challenge unhealthy behaviors and thought processes, empowering them to live happier and healthier lives. Emily wants every client to leave sessions feeling better, more successful, and confident in who they are, with the strength and ability to discuss what's bothering them.

Emily works with anyone over the age of 12 who feels comfortable working with her. Known for her warm demeanor, she genuinely enjoys people's existence and has a habit of smiling a lot. Outside of her clinical work, Emily enjoys learning, playing games, and watching anime and movies.
