Jessica has been volunteering and working with children, adults, marriages, and families since 1998. Jessica has been providing therapy since 2006 to individuals, families, couples, and groups in the areas of depression, anxiety, childhood disorders, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
Jessica received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Greenville College in Greenville, IL and her Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, The Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Schaumburg, IL.
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a member of the American Counseling Association. She is an active member of Puzzled Minds Vermilion County which provides support to parents and professionals working with children with special emotional and social needs.
Jessica provides cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy and utilizes a holistic approach in order to work towards a healthy balanced life and complete recovery.
Play based therapy is offered for young children to express, process, and resolve their difficulties. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is also available for children and adults to treat PTSD, depression, and anxiety resulting from physical, emotional, or sexual trauma. Jessica is a Prepare Enrich Certified counselor for pre-marital and marriage counseling utilizing an online assessment to identify strength and growth areas and provide resources to strengthen your relationship. Christian counseling is available for individuals if requested.
