Heidi is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been a practicing Therapist since 1996, gaining her Clinical Licensure in 1999. Heidi has 20 years of experience and training that have helped her develop skills as an expert Therapist and Clinical Supervisor.
Heidi has a Master of Science Degree in Education and Community Counseling from Eastern Illinois University. While living in Scotland, Heidi also earned a Diploma of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the University of Dundee.
Heidi has extensive experience working in Community Counseling Centers, a University Counseling Center, Medical Clinics, and a Christian Counseling Center. Heidi specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress management, and trauma issues.
Heidi utilizes a person-centered approach to customize Therapy to individual needs. Heidi's eclectic approach includes elements of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Therapy, and Grief Therapy. Heidi enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families.
