Carrie completed her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University. She went on to complete her Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Olivet Nazarene University. She began counseling in 2017 as an Addictions Counselor, serving individuals with substance abuse concerns.
Carrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with individuals of all ages. She enjoys working with children and adults struggling with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, school based issues, behavioral concerns, ADHD, grief, divorce, addiction, self-harm, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. Carrie enjoys working with children, individuals, couples, and families.
Carrie utilizes a variety of techniques in her practice, including Cognitive Behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused problem solving. Carrie values providing an eclectic approach in treatment, making it individualized to each client. She utilizes a holistic approach in order to work towards a healthy balanced life and complete recovery.
