DANVILLE—This summer, introduce your children or grandchildren to an experience they’ll never forget. And you’ll always remember the positive progress they made.
Openings remain for Yoga for Kids for children ages 5 through 10. From 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays from June 7 to August 9, children will enjoy 10 weeks of yoga, games, learning, character building, socializing and fun.
Always positive and helpful Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors Jessica Nemecz and Lori Young will lead the classes.
“It’s always amazing to see how much children change after we meet them and spend time with them,” said Nemecz, co-owner of Two Roads Wellness Clinic at 1101 E. Winter Ave., Danville.
“Sometimes they start off worried, nervous or just plain distracted. After a week or two, though, the smiles shine through as they strengthen their bodies and their social skills through encouragement and play.”
The cost per class is $40, which many health insurance companies cover as group therapy.
And it’s not just children who can be part of the positivity.
Linda Luke, certified yoga instructor and owner of Anahata Yoga Studio, will lead the $10 classes that help turn grumpy teens pleasant and ease depression, anxiety and stress for all ages.
