Becky graduated with a M.S. in Counseling in 1995. She received her license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in 1999. She has primarily worked within the Child Welfare field throughout her career. She has provided therapy to children, adolescents, and families individually, within groups and family therapy. She provided treatment for individuals with anxiety, behavioral issues, family/relationship issues, grief/loss, stress, self esteem, adjustment, trauma and anger issues. She has been trained in a variety of counseling interventions.
Becky believes that individuals are best able to identify the coping skills/solutions to overcome the difficulties they are facing. There is not one specific therapeutic model that works for everyone. She believes a holistic approach is best. Individuals are unique and should be involved in every facet of developing a plan that best fits their particular needs. A therapists role is to listen, support, and help guide them through their journey. Listening to individuals and developing a trusting relationship them allows the therapist and individuals to discuss options that they are willing to explore. This creates a caring, compassionate, safe environment where individuals are empowered to overcome their concerns/issues. Becky looks forward and feels honored to be a participant in your journey.
