Amy started her career in social work in 2008 working with women and children as an advocate for people experiencing domestic violence and abuse. Prior to her start in the field, Amy spent a lot of time volunteering in several roles working with children. Amy started her therapy career in 2012 working with children suffering with several mental health diagnoses. She enjoys working with children, individuals, couples, and families addressing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma.
Amy received her Bachelors of Social Work from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL and her Masters of Social Work from The University of Illinois School of Social Work in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Amy provides cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy and utilizes a holistic approach in order to work towards a healthy balanced life and complete recovery.
